Nikon D200

On November 1, 2005 Nikon introduced the D200. It was more like it's big brother, the D2X than it was the D100. From the start, the D200 was a success, and was on backorder for many months as camera only, or in a kit with either the 18-70mm DX lens or the new 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 VR II DX lens.

The D200 is a 10.2 effective megapixel camera, and at introduction sold for $1699.95, $1999.95 with the 18-70mm kit lens, or $2499.95 with the 18-200mm VR kit lens.
