Page Four

An abandoned home in Logan County on US Highway 83. Taken early in the day with a Hexanon 57mm f/1.2 lens. I used a polarizing filter and took the shot at f/4 for 1/125 second.

The two photos below are of the Chalk Pyramids/Monuments Rocks of Gove County, Kansas. At left in silhouette as the sun begins to rise, the photo was taken with a Vivitar 28mm f/2.5 wideangle lens at f/5.6 for 1/60th second. The vivitar 28mm also took the picture at right with a circular polarizing filter at f/4 for 1/125th second in the golden glow of sunrise.
